Can we just say how much we love St Tropez? Anyway, back to the amazing people at St Tropez: ever since we received this awesome Christmas goodie bag, the Elite London office has been a paradise of tan. The Elite girls are practically stealing St Tropez from each other's bags. Come to think of it, we might need another shipment!

RED HOT

Well well well... looks like we have another star in the making! Not content with being Mulberry’s muse last season, our resident redhead Julia is now racking up some major editorials including Velvet Magazine and Italian Vogue...guess this means red is the new blonde! The best is yet to come...for anyone who has seen the September Issue this will have significant wow factor...Julia is currently in NYC shooting American Vogue, styled by Grace Coddington and shot by Mario Testino, now that’s what we call a dream team! We may have to wait a while for the issue to hit the stands but to keep us going the lovely miss J has sent us this sneak preview from behind the scenes...looks like we’ll be cracking out red hair dye next year!

ALANA ZIMMER JOINS ELITE LONDON

Good news seldom comes in ones: following the news of Madisyn Ritland signing to Elite London, we've just been informed that Alana Zimmer is boarding our ship, too. As of today, the Canadian top girl who's shot, well, everything worth shooting is officially an Elite London girl. Merry Christmas, y'all.

KORREL & JAMES ROSS IN i-D's WORLD AIDS DAY FILM

World AIDS Day 2010 is all about raising awareness to tackle HIV prejudice and help stop the disease spreading. We are proud to present this 5-minute film, courtesy of i-D's Menswear Editor Elgar Johnson and filmmaker George Harvey. The idea is simple: twelve models, of varying ages and nationalities, talking about AIDS. Without being briefed, each talks candidly about what AIDS means to them and what we can do to raise awareness.



All models wear Emporio Armani (RED, Converse (RED) and GAP (RED).

Elite London boys get the cover of Models.com

 

The new Models.com cover is devoted to the Elite London boys! New York-based photographer Samantha West shot Austin Myers, Egor, Felix Branch, Joshua Bell, Nick Alexander, and Tom Fonteyn exclusively for Models.com in an editorial honouring the Elite London men's board.


The shoot, which was styled by Morgan Hamada Ruiz, features London-based designer James Long's spring/summer 2011 collection, as well as elements from his autumn/winter 2010 collection. Congratulations to the boys - and special thanks to our friends at Models.com!

SNOW ANGELS

   If these shots don’t put a smile on your face we’re not sure what will!  When presented with a snow day here at Elite what do we do...moan about the lack of transport...complain about the cold? Nope we see the perfect opportunity for an impromptu photo shoot what else!?

We roped in two gorgeous elite boys to indulge us with this one and Oscar and Luiz just happened to passing through the agency. For born and bred Swede Oscar this is pretty standard but for Luiz who joins us from Brazil this is a whole new experience... we hope these put a smile on your face and cheer up any miserable snow days out there!

Rory and Jack go backwards for Pixie Lott

Following in the footsteps of Tony Ward, Tyson Beckford and everyone from George Michael's 'Freedom' video, Rory Torrens and Jack Rogers have gone and landed themselves a couple of music video cameos. The lucky lady who got to schmooze with les boys - and get rather close with Rory - is of course one Pixie Lott, pop princess par excellence. The Elite London boys look perfectly delectable in the video, which was released today and is all backwards. Good thing Rory and Jack look good from all angles.

Yes we could have endless fun turning River’s name into amusing blog titles but we are far too busy staring at these breathtaking images taken from the latest issue of client magazine. Not only did our boy nab the cover (yes there are 2 versions but who wouldn’t pick this one?) but he also smoulders his way into this captivating editorial, black and white simplicity at its best...

The ever-so amazing Denisa Dvorakova looks saucy on the pages of the new Flair Italia, as seen through the lens of Gianluca Fontana. She's one hard-working lady, our Denisa -  this season alone the Praguian beauty has shot covers for Vogue Espana and Tiger as well as campaigns for Francesco Scognamiglio, Via Spiga and Pantene.

 Thanks for the phrase Models.com...we couldn’t think of any other way to describe this fierce blonde! Welcome to London Madelene (wish you hadn’t brought the weather with you!)...

We’ve had the gorgeous Madelene in town for the last couple of weeks and we can safely say this girls feet have not touched the ground...well with a face and body like that who’s surprised!

Cast your mind back to Elite Model Look 2009 and you will remember the divine Nyasha who stole our hearts and walked away with first place in the UK final last August...

Following a dream first season of shows back in September (two words...Louis Vuitton) we sent Nyasha over to fashion Mecca, New York City to show the Americans why Elite London girls are truly the best in the business...and clearly they agree! We spotted our girl front and centre at a presentation for  Calvin Klein, looking every inch the poster girl for the iconic US brand.

V MAN and Mario visit Malthe in Copenhagen

Malthe, one of Elite London's newest additions to the men's board, struts his stuff in his native Copenhagen for the November issue of V MAN - he's number three from left in the top picture. The editorial, which was shot by Mario Testino and styled by Andrew Richardson, sees Malthe in an array of typical Danish settings...  Of course Elite London's no stranger to the invasion of the Danes. Between the booking desk, the PR department and the models, on a good day there are about six hundred Danish people at the office.

Elite's T4 takeover!

 We came, we scouted, we conquered! Team Elite were out in force on Sunday at London’s Earls Court for T4’s annual Pop-fest, T4s Stars of 2010, on a mission to find the face of the future and bring a touch of fashion to the masses.

A crew of Elite scouts and models took over the catwalk stage and with help from our friends at River Island, put on a spectacular fashion show amidst the chaos...the male models causing a serious stir amongst the ladies in the audience, you don’t get that at London Fashion Week!

Mollie and Vanessa from The Saturdays joined us on stage to help judge our model competition and a big congratulations to Penny Crocker from Middlesex who was crowned our winner! For more photos make sure you visit our facebook page.

Tis the Season to be wearing DKNY

 You may be trying to fight it (team elite are not too sure about the Christmas music playing in Starbucks in mid November...) but it’s hard to ignore the fact that party season is round the corner! As the December issues start hitting our desks all eyes are on those all important festive campaigns and a particular favourite this season has to be DKNY featuring the gorgeous Keke Lindgard...

You leave the blogosphere for less than twenty-four hours and there she is again! Fei Fei, hitting up the H&M Holiday campaign. Girlfriend's on a roll - we're kind of tempted to officially declaring it Fei Fei Week. The H&M Holiday campaign was shot by Daniel Jackson and styled by George Cortina. Elite scouts will be let loose in the crowds at Earls Court to find 10 potential new faces to appear on the Catwalk Stage in a live ‘walk-off’...sound scary? These lucky girlies will also be judged by pop royalty Mollie and Rochelle from the Saturdays who will be making up part of the judging panel. Haven’t managed to bag yourself a ticket?
