Preview: Louis Galloway stars in Topman film

Who better to personify the Topman spirit than our very own Louis Galloway? The silky-haired Scotsman is getting his film star debut in Laurence Ellis' beautiful new film campaign for Topman's autumn/winter denim range, launching Monday 4th of October.

Based on Louis as well as two other young men, three short films portray different faces of youth as seen through the eyes of the characters - and serve as an eternal memory of Louis' long-hair days. We miss his long locks!

Ever wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes of your favourite Fashion Week Show? Our lovely friends at FTape went backstage at the Man SS 11 show armed with a camera to capture our male models enjoying some down time before they take to the catwalk...we’d like to say they were well behaved but we think from these shots you may come to your own conclusion! We were prepared for the madness, makeup and flashes of nudity but sock puppets and face pulling? Thats not what we teach them at the agency!

In between shooting major campaigns and dominating the catwalks at Fashion Week, Elite superstar Constance Jablonski has somehow found the time to appear on not one, not two, but three magazine covers this Autumn proving once again that she is this generations answer to a global supermodel.

Topshop took us back to the 70's with today's print-tastic collection, shown at our new favourite location, Waterloo Station. With sky high platforms just the right side of trashy and a definite hint of Bianca Jagger meets Stevie Nicks being channelled up on the old Eurostar platform, we predict a rush for the rails when Topshop debut this lovely lot. And we're already dusting off our crimping irons. Oh yes. Congrats to our five gorgeous Unique girls for pulling off that catwalk-challenging footwear too.

Elite's Michelangelo and James take in the Gramercy view

Speaking of flying, our very own James Powell, booker extraordinaire, is taking his first ever bite of the Big Apple this week. In his morning report from the roof terrace at the Gramercy, James was starstruck by the presence of Sarah Jessica Parker - "It's Carrie! It's Carrie!" - fashion moment #1.  
And James's top NY tip so far? Hotly hyped restaurant Kittichai at 60 Thompson... it's a long way from the Valleys. 

Don't worry we'll make him do some work before he comes home...

We love a bit of catwoman style horse-bound action.... well who wouldn't with the lovely Constance in the saddle? This film for Hermes makes us think of a 19th century Mission Impossible, cat-like mask optional. Va va voom. And the girl can fish as well, although we'd probably learn too if there was a Birkin on the end of the line...

... if there was ever an occasion to use a Moulin Rouge! quote for a headline, right? Our very own tigress, the delectable Denisa, continues her string of summer covers with the autumn/winter 2010 issue of Tiger, shot by Jose Manuel Ferrater. The hair's amazing, no?
