In celebration of its 84th anniversary, 7-Eleven plans to give away 5 million free Slurpees today, July 11, 2011 to over 8,600 locations in North America to an event they called "7-Eleven Day".

Participating 7-Eleven stores across the U.S. and Canada will serve up 5 million free 7.11-ounce Slurpee frozen carbonated beverages this day while supplies last.les, and that the previous record for most free Slurpees handed out is 5 million, which is how many they're giving out on Monday, "while supplies last."
